Provide the necessary basis to protect human health and the environment from harmful chemicals.

Classification and labelling are the starting point for hazard communication and help ensuring that human health and the environment are protected from harmful chemicals.

Following the rules of the Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation (EU 1272/2008) is also a prerequisite for free movement of substances, mixtures, and articles.

Once a substance or mixture is classified, the identified hazards must be communicated to actors in the supply chain, including consumers. The label contains information about the identified hazards. The classification, as well as a label and an attached safety data sheet, tell the user what hazards are associated with the substance or mixture, and how it is used safely.

THE FORCE supports you with the necessary classification and labelling, and in communicating the required information to all relevant parties.
